**IMPORTANT: If you're going to add a scheme on the list, at the very least write a short article about it, and even better, upload the scheme .WSC file, an example replay and link to some maps on WMDB if applicable. Don't add here schemes you invented yourself, unless they actually took up some momentum on WormNET (for example you saw someone you don't know playing your scheme) or put your scheme on "Scheme ideas" page.**

"Scheme" redirects here. For the scheme file format, see Scheme file.

Schemes are game modes or game styles. If Worms is a game, a scheme is a modality, an aggregate of map design, settings and rules of a particular gameplay.

Notable

List of notable schemes played on WormNET.

Note: Schemes are text files. Some browsers may open them for you to read (appearing bizarre characters) instead of downloading them. If this happens, just right click on the download link, then select "save link as" and the file will be downloaded successfully.

Conventional gameplay

Schemes usually played on randomly-generated maps without rules.

Weapon specific

Schemes which revolve around just one or two weapons and have little else.

Racing

Schemes in which victory is attained by reaching a finish line on a special map.

Roping

Schemes in which skillful use of the ninja rope is required in nearly every turn.

Other schemes

Schemes usually with (complex) rules or special maps that don't fit in the main categories.

ESO schemes

Schemes which depend on Extended Scheme Options (previously RubberWorm).

Project X schemes

Schemes which depend on Project X.

IndiMask schemes

Schemes which depend on wkIndiMask.

Unspecified

Schemes for which articles have not yet been written include:

Intrinsic

Main Article: Intrinsic schemes
