It is possible to fire homing weapons, as well as point-and-click weapons without aiming. To do this, one needs to select the weapon (using F1..F12 keys) and fire the weapon (using Space or Enter) simultaneously - more precisely, in the same frame. This works both on and off the Ninja Rope.
There are a number of weapons which are subject to this. These are:
- Homing Missile
- Homing Pigeon
- Patsy's Magic Bullet
- Air Strike
- Napalm Strike
- Mail Strike
- Mine Strike
- Mole Squadron
- MB Bomb
- French Sheep Strike
- Mike's Carpet Bomb
- Concrete Donkey
- Teleport
- Girder — see also Girdering an Occupied Location
The weapon is aimed to the position where a previous weapon was aimed in the same turn. If no weapon was aimed in that turn, the weapon automatically targets the center of the map.
Note that this glitch only works with weapons that are not immediately preceded by a targetable weapon on the same F-key row. When using this glitch to fire a weapon that is the first in its row, the weapon selected beforehand cannot be a targetable weapon.
