As many as the map will support for automatic placement

MineBomber is a game mode brought over from Worms World Party, using RubberWorm features to simulate "Using a weapon doesn't end your turn mode" Wormpot. Players drop mines from Jet Pack to blow enemy god worms out of a bowl-shaped map (somehow like Plop War). The only way to make the explosions powerful enough for this is to activate several mines at the same time by creating a pile of mines and pushing worms into them. This is trickier than it sounds and requires good aiming.

Autotap programs are forbidden in this scheme, so stay alert.

History

This excerpt taken from Apocalypse's second MineBomber map description explains pretty well the scheme's history:

"MineBomber is a twist on a special variety of Holy Wars I knew from World Party, in which God Mode and SDET were employed via Wormpot. The latter wasn't available in Armageddon until the advent of Rubberworm, but now, it can be appreciated in all its glory... just without the HHG's."

The scheme the player calls "Holy Wars" might be Bomb Surfer (or a variation of it), a scheme similar to MineBomber and different from the classic Holy War.

The first MineBomber PNG map was released on WMDB on 11th September 2009 (it has the scheme attached to it).
