Power Prodder is a RubberWorm scheme with super low moon-like gravity. It starts off as a chill game with all worms having just 5hp and all weapons of the scheme except the prod are delayed. Health or utility crates spawn every turn, so the goals at the start of the game is to get as many of your worms as possible to get some more health, because at turn 3 the 5-powered infinite Fire Punch and Dragon Ball come into play and every 5HP worm is in serious danger. After some more turns, more weapons come into play, like the unlimited mines in turn 6, and if the game goes on for long enough to reach turn 8, infinite Holy Hand Grenade turns the match into a full-on combating worm-launching explosions into space! It is recommended to play with a higher game engine speed, like using "/fast" command when hosting (or !version fast with hosting buddy). TestStuff ("/ts") is also recommended.

Power Prodder is a RubberWorm scheme with super low moon-like gravity. It starts off as a chill game with all worms having just 5hp and all weapons of the scheme except the prod are delayed. Health or utility crates spawn every turn (there are no weapon crates), so the goals at the start of the game is to get as many of your worms as possible to get some more health, because at turn 3 the 5-powered infinite Fire Punch and Dragon Ball come into play and every 5HP worm is in serious danger.

History

The scheme was created by MB777. The release date is not precise but it was probably in 2009 (see scheme upload at a Blame The Pixel archived page), with the earliest known map for it uploaded to the Worms Map Database in March of that year by the scheme's author.

Variation or update?

The author of the scheme released a different version of it on TUS in 2016. The differences are the turn time of 45 seconds instead of 30, less delay to the weapons, the value of the health crates which is now 255 (the original was 150) and the addition of the Old Woman to the scheme. This version was chosen as the one HostingBuddy is now supporting (right click here "save link as" and download it) (since 2021) with the v3.8's new scheme format.

Before this scheme

Regarding the characteristic of this scheme of progressively unlocking several delayed weapons as the turns pass (starting with almost nothing, or weak weapons), a scheme called Clockworm Orange already existed.
