:You do like flooding based schemes, I noticed that... Drown Syndrome, Scramble and now I'm reading your past ideas of a DIY flood fort... Coincidence or not, I started a new scheme project yesterday (aside from Destructible WfW and another one I have in mind based on WfW + roping schemes) which is also based on flooding with an old WA friend from UK who has very good photoshop skills. It will be a hard work but I think will be different from other flooding schemes like Peti's Dangerous Water. Reading that snapshot from Nanacide it is curious to see the enphasis you gave on Team17 scheme and a brief text in Rope Race hehe. I still wanted to check if there are .bit DIY Fort maps, but that would take long time searching. --FoxHound (talk) 19:13, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

About Dangerous Water and Builder, they are as red links on Scheme ideas page, I plan to write about these schemes one day. Both can be found on WMDB. Builder is about a DIY Fort, but you unlock weapons by constructing certain symbols with girders, for example a cross, letter H, etc. Each girder symbol unlock a specific weapon. If your opponent destroy a symbol of yours, you loose that weapon. About Dangerous Water, I never played it and I think the scheme of the map is lost. I can only imagine that the scheme probably has girders and some other weapons maybe and the water rises (the map is like a Tower but with a way to climb by jumping. --FoxHound (talk) 16:58, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

DIY fort

Good work finding those DIY fort examples FoxHound! That gave me a bit of a nostalgia trip because a comment from Djoszee on one of the maps mentions "floodfort", which, if my memory serves, is a sort of DIY fort that I tried to develop but could never get to work :P It also led me to find a mention of "build-your-own fort" on this early 2006 snapshot of my wahelp site :D Run! You do like flooding based schemes, I noticed that...
Ah, maybe I should have mentioned that PePaR's Builder is a similar concept to DIY Fort too. Very interesting idea. --FoxHound (talk) 19:27, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
I definitely made DIY fort .bit maps back in the day, using the in-game editor hah, but they were terribly basic as you can imagine. Like just lines at the bottom. Probably not worth looking for, though it might cast some interesting light on how far back the scheme goes.
I'm glad to see from wmdb that *some* people enjoyed the concept at least - back in my day I couldn't even get my friends to play it D:
Dangerous Water and Builder seem to be redlinks - are they not on this site? Run! (talk) 06:43, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
Some schemes are hard to find people to play. Recently I played many different schemes due to sbs, he knows a lot of different ideas.
