Based on Hysteria, Aerial is a game played on random generated island maps, with no rules and a very short turn time. The main difference with Hysteria is that Aerial has 3 seconds of turn time rather than one. Jet Pack use is also significantly more encouraged in this scheme, as it allows greater mobility both during the 3 seconds of turn time (which allows much more mobility before attacking than in Hysteria) and during the retreat time than when attacking from the ground.
History
Although this scheme can be considered a variation of Hysteria, the description found in the TUS upload of the scheme by HHC in 2010 mentions that Aerial was "based on the Playstation scheme 'Aerial', though thoroughly edited".
