Double Damage is an instant effect utility[1] that doubles the damage and increases the explosion radius of the team who picks it up. It only lasts for the turn that it is collected.
Since it increases explosion radius, it allows for opening large passages and hitting targets that were previously out of reach, but will cause difficulty when operating in tight spaces.
Double Damage does not have any effect on the Battle Axe. Picking up a second crate of Double Damage in one turn has no effect.
- ↑ Double Damage is consumed immediately upon collection and does not appear in the weapon arsenal.
Trivia
- References to other media: the Worms Armageddon description of Damage x2 "Twice the -cide, double the moul." is a parody of a phrase said on a scene of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith: "Twice the pride, double the fall".
