− | I love the Worm Olympics icons, the hysteria icon is specially funny. I thought about a possible scheme icon for hysteria. The idea is a parody from the cover of Muse's third album: Absolution, since the name of the scheme was inspired on the KoreanRedDragon's suggestion citing Muse - Hysteria song (from the album Absolution). The parody would be instead of that person, a worm just like the WO Hysteria icon, with a hysteric face. The shadows of the album cover would be shadows of worms. I thought about doing it myself, but my skills on image manipulation sucks. --FoxHound (talk) 20:11, 20 August 2020 (UTC) | + | I love the Worm Olympics icons, the hysteria icon is specially funny. Hysteria the quickest scheme with the turntime being only 1 sec.
Generaly there is No Rules in Hysteria, but using turn advantage (also known as Telecow)is frowned upon in funner matches but a Vital tactic in League matches.
Hysteria is a Good scheme for newcomers to Learn good hotkey/fkeys weapon selection skills and weapon accuracy.
Many Love Hysteria, Many Hate Hysteria,
Either way its here to stay and has made its mark on the game as #1 most played scheme in many modern leagues such as www.tus-wa.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pizzasheet (talk • contribs)

About the ruled variation: "no worm rotation abuse" or "no telecow/jetcow"
Run, it was me who wrote that variation with rule, because actually most of Hysteria players dislike Worm Rotation Abuse, and they consider it as itself a cow. They will get angry in chat if you teleport next to a worm exploring the rotation or using jetpack to stay closer to a worm at the end of the round. I never seen a rule about suicides (in hysteria), but they might exist too. People play hysteria like an artillery game, like a crazy type of BnG. So they see Worm Rotation Abuse as a "noobish thing". I think the correct is the host say it before the game start as a rule, but this rule is so common that they expect you to know it. I'm sorry if my english was not clear enough to express that, but that was what I was trying to say. I believe this rule is also applied in competitions. --FoxHound (talk) 03:45, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
- Oh I see, I understand now. Thanks for clarifying. I thought it was referring to the suicide move. I think what I'll do is create a rules section and move it there. Run! (talk) 08:00, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
- OK done. I also re-wrote your newest section to clarify it, hope you don't mind. Run! (talk) 08:27, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
- Even though I'm translating stuff to portuguese, I know that my english is not the best one (I hope people of this wiki don't get angry with my edits as they got in the past), so thanks for re-writing (also thanks to LeTotalKiller's corrections). I'm just translating because brazilians really need the translations, since many don't understand english and I know if I don't do this nobody will do, so they are "beta" translations. Also I'd like to question if the rule "no roofing" is necessary, since hysteria is usually played in island maps as it is written in the Game Setup. I also would like to say that it was interesting the unlimited 11-powered cows idea during the scheme development, and the chat mentioning the Muse song while suggesting the scheme name.--FoxHound (talk) 08:55, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
- Awesome, good work :) Yeah, don't worry about your English - content is more important, so just keep editing, and people will always be on hand to correct any language issues :) Yeah that replay is a fun one, I'm glad I still had it in my files! I took the no roofing rule from here, I guess it's rarely needed but worth including. Run! (talk) 09:07, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Hysteria scheme icon suggestion
I love the Worm Olympics icons, the hysteria icon is specially funny. I thought about a possible scheme icon for hysteria. The idea is a parody from the cover of Muse's third album: Absolution, since the name of the scheme was inspired on the KoreanRedDragon's suggestion, citing Muse - Hysteria song (from the album Absolution) on the same replay conversation. The parody would be instead of that person, a worm just like the WO Hysteria icon, with a hysteric face. The shadows of the album cover would be shadows of worms. I thought about doing it myself, but my skills on image manipulation sucks. --FoxHound (talk) 20:11, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
