SoldOut Software releases of Worms 2 contain the European version of the game in its original version. Unique to these releases are SoldOut Software's ".Now" installer system and the fact that there is a "Patches" folder on the disc, containing two files:
- Patch.exe (2.686.464 bytes, dated 15 January 2002)
- W2P005_English.exe (8.620.032 bytes, dated 7 April 1998)
At least two variants exist - one published in 2002 featuring the European cover art in full, and another published in 2005 with SoldOut Software's more common cover design (cover art framed, background is white with orange and black stripes).
