Technical information
Essentially the same build as the Amiga version. Worms will default to the CD32 joypad as the primary control method even if being run from an Amiga computer with a CD-ROM drive.
Additional CD-ROM features are also enabled upon start-up, including in-game FMV sequences, ambient audio and a mode that allows the user to insert their own audio CD and listen to their own music during play. The game also presents the option to "worm up" the CD audio, playing it at a slightly increased speed.
These additional features are coded into the Amiga floppy version and can be enabled either by running the correct executable or by using WormShell.
