History of the GIF ("Gifstory")
The first gif version Gif was made by FoxHound inspired by this video Sensei posted on Discord (after a question by oScarDiAnno).
The first version of the gif was also inspired by Korydex play on File:Driver.WAgame (playback at... 05:50).
RandomGuest pointed that at 0:49 of Barman's Worms Armageddon Compilation 2 the baseball bat also hits a worm through the terrain (and very well).
After this cgar posted a relatively big gif with zoom out from that video.
FoxHound and RandomGuest cropped the gif (see FoxHound's version), but RandomGuest's version was chosen to substitute the first gif version of this file page.
The third version of this gif was made by cgar, using "ffmpeg" with a much smaller size and a great quality (winning at the momment the already installed well humored "competition").
But, medvedx64 uploaded a version even more compacted (just a little smaller). A .mp4 file and definitely won the "competition". However that .mp4 version is not supported by this wiki and the version made by cgar remained or (prevailed?) here.
