About the name and some history
Chess. Becouse if you do a mistake you will get mated. The scheme was founded by Tomi for the Worms Scheme Contest, but it didn't get ready to the deadline so it could not take part in that competition. :( So I wanted to stop the development. But once my clanmates tried to play the scheme and they liked it very much. We got the feeling and CMV, Peti, and me completed the final version of the scheme in June 2010.

About the map and the scheme
Map: Chess must be played on an 'open to the water cavern' (Map_Editor_Guide 23. / #3) map with a lot of objects and girders.
Scheme: Chess is a Bo3 (Best of 3 / 2 winning is needed) scheme, becouse a round last not so long. The most weapon has only 1 ammo so you have to spare with them becouse if you used a weapon which has 1 ammo in the first round you can not use that in the secound round.
How to play
Chess must be played as 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3. The worms must be placed directly to the most right or the most left side of the map. Here is an example:
(In most cases the 'open to the water cavern' maps has four possible places where you can place your worm. These are: left up, left down, right up, and right down.)
- If you play as 1v1: If the player, who begins, placed his/her worm directly to the left side of the map then you have to place your worm to the right side. (Up or down does not care.)
- If you play as 2v2: If the first player placed his/her worm to left up, the following player has to place his/her worm to the right side (up or down), the third player has to place his/her worm to left down. The fourth player has to place his/her worm to right down (if his/her mate placed his/her worm to right up) or right up (if his/her mate placed his/her worm to right down). The matter is that 2 worms in a team could not be placed close.
You have infinite ammo of parachute, bungee, fire punch and dragon ball, blow torch, pnuematic drill so you can move like in a Team 17.
You have 1 of fast walk and 1 of low gravity which can be useful at the last attack.
The goal is to destroy the other worm(s).
