Andy Davidson is the man who came up with the core concept of ''Worms''. He was also responsible for programming the Amiga versions of [[Worms]] and [[Worms: The Directors Cut]]. He left Team17 shortly after the release of Worms Armageddon in 1999, feeling he enjoyed coding more than anything else, and having no desire to code on any system other than the Amiga. He returned briefly in 2012 to work on new, non-Worms related projects, but left the company again following the release of Worms Revolution.
