The Double Damage instant effect utility doubles explosion damage during the turn this powerup is collected. Be careful though - the explosion radius is increased on all explosives. It's easy to harm your own worms if you're not careful.
Double Damage does not have any effect on the Battle Axe. Picking up a second crate of Double Damage in one turn has no effect either.
