If used at the correct height, a "sink hole" created using a Kamikaze can fail, as shown below.
The Kamikazeing worm will drown, but will leave a small amount of land at the bottom of the landscape which prevents worms from sinking. This only occurs when the Kamikaze is used at a height that is slightly lower than the distance required for making a Kamikazeing worm explode. The worm does not explode when it reaches the water, but drowns instead. As the explosion did not occur, the land is not removed.
