Blitz Basic, the coding language in which Worms was programmed on the Amiga, appears to check the vector-base register only on a 68020 CPU or better; this could potentially prevent Worms from working if you have a 68010 CPU.
WormsShell makes it read the VBR on 68010s too, although the programmer, Ben Hutchings, was not able to test the fix.
