DarK, whose real name is René, is a wormer from Germany. He first appeared on (WormNET 1 Worms Armageddon) in September 2001, under the nickname DarkSSJGoku, together with his real life friend Master of Disaster, short MoD. He soon began to play Shoppers and developed a decent roping skill. Since he wasn't able (due to lack of skills) to join his favourite clan at that time, BkM, he decided to found an own clan together with MoD, called briefly URC (Ultimate Ropers Clan). The clan grew fast, some of the recruits were the German RIPPER, a (fake) Japanese called Bamboo and another German called skyldpod, AliceInChains' younger brother. URC played clanners in CL2K back in the day, but never reached the top rankings, not to mention playoffs. However, DarK first developed roping skills, then after several months he got into Team17 and BnG as well. Soon he also started playing in Gigaliga, a league that supported worms, provided by a German TV station called GIGA TV. This league's set scheme was pretty similar to Elite, yet there were some differences (like a set Super Sheep instead of a custom super weapon, and infinite Moles). That's the reason why many German worms players developed an above-average Elite skill, lots of which even joined the world's top Elite-ranks. Because DarK did pretty well in this league he was asked to join starComa (sCa), a well-known German multigaming-clan, under the lead of Scheissedeggel, who got in 3rd place of Gigaliga's first playoffs, called the GrandSlam. Other members were buZz, the administrator of the Electronic Sports League's (ESL) Worms Armageddon section, Bones, who is a graphic-designer for the German studio Crytek, and syztem. By DarK's request, who soon got promoted to co-lead sCa, there were other new recruits (MoD, SlayeR and Ramb0, while buZz and syztem left the clan.
