#Allez à la section Routers sur portforward.com;
#Trouvez le modèle de votre routeur (ou celui le plus proche de votre modèle si vous ne trouvez pas le vôtre), et cliquez dessus ;
#Passez la pub (voir ci-dessous);
#Descendez dans la page pour trouver le lien Worms Armageddon puis cliquez dessus;
#Suivez les instructions qui s'affichent.

* ajouter WA.exe à la "zone de confiance" ;
* ajouter WA.exe à une liste "d'exceptions" ;
* créer une règle pour donner toutes les autorisations d'utilisation du réseau à et vers WA.exe.

Hysteria is a special scheme where quick thinking and reflexes are vital. Each turn only lasts for a meagre one second, in which the player must select and fire a weapon.

There is one weapon available on each of the function keys, and they all come in infinite supply, except for 1 cow. Each turn also has 10 seconds of 'hot seat' time before it, which gives the player time to think about their turn.

Sudden death occurs in 10 seconds. However, because the turns are only 1 second long, the timer will not decrease unless a player runs out of turn time, meaning that matches can last indefinitely provided no player times out. When Sudden death occurs, the water rises very quickly.

Each player also has infinite jet packs. These require that the player instantly drops a weapon after equipping them, so they have an additional 5 seconds of retreat time during which the player can get to otherwise hard-to-reach places.

Strategies
First off, use the hotseat time to think out your move. Think of which worm to hit, which weapon to use for it and where you want to end your turn, as you're going to need that worm another turn later on, preferrably with plenty of health points left.

The jetpack retreat
The jetpack retreat is an invaluable move. Simply activate the jetpack, plant a mine, and use your five seconds of retreat time to fly to your destination. Since your turn-time is a second long, you have just enough time to make a very short flight before you plant that mine—good for attacking a nearby worm before carrying on with your journey. The mine need not be the only attack—with an extra key-press you can release a cow, for example.

Even after you've dropped your weapon you can still make an attack. With careful manoeuvring you can use your jetpack to push mines onto nearby enemies. Or if you're using a particularly unhealthy worm, you can drop onto an enemy worm from a great height for a suicide bombing. The jetpack knock is the hardest trick of all—time your retreat so that when time runs out, your worm falls and knocks another worm down.

While choosing the weapon to drop from the jetpack, keep in mind where you want your worm to end up. If you're stuck in a deep hole and want to get out, it's very likely that your worm will end up close to the upper edge of that same hole. As a consequence, your worm is easily shot back in again and if that happens, you most certainly don't want to land on the same mine you dropped only a turn earlier! In such cases, it is perhaps better to drop a grenade from the jetpack (or a bazooka) since the additional fall damage is not nearly as high as the one you'd get from an additional mine explosion.

Some people actually go so far as to activate the mine they dropped in that same turn. This is a very risky manouver, since recently dropped mines have a delay before they are activated, giving you about a second to move away from the mine before it is activated. Since this action spells disaster virtually all of the time, DarkOne's law has been formulated: never activate a mine you just dropped. The penalty for breaking this law is self-inflicted damage, though like in reality, the system is not perfect.

Worm rotation abuse
If you have fewer worms than your opponent you can abuse the worm rotation to get easy shots. Teleport your worm next to an enemy worm such that you'll get another turn before he does. If you only have one worm, you can do this to all his worms until he too only has one left.

This tactic can be countered by having your worms close together, so that your opponent can always be attacked regardless of which worm's turn it is.

Worm rotation abuse is one of the reasons why you'd want to damage all your opponent's worms before you start killing them off: a kill at the start gives him/her the opportunity to use this tactic to easily reduce the difference in health points.
Even in doing this, you should be mindful for the jetpack suicides you inevitably enable your opponents to if you damage a worm to almost 0 hp.

Summoning the flood
If the flooding will bring you a tactical advantage, then try missing a few turns to activate Sudden Death. This works best when your enemy has too many worms near the bottom to stage a mass evacuation. If missing a turn is too costly, use the shotgun to get one shot in, while missing the second.

Sometimes, your opponent will position a worm to the side of the map, hoping for strong wind and basically firing the bazooka until it hits (either by luck or skill depending on the person using these tactics).

Having said worm on that edge also places it lower than your own worms. Though trying to hit them is of course possible, it's still more difficult than vice versa, which makes these placements an opportunity to set off sudden death.

Knowing who to kill
Most Hysteria games end up with players firing bazookas and grenades across the map. Getting a hit takes a lot of skill, so you might want to plan ahead and make it easy for yourself by killing off the more skilled players first, while the game is still in its chaotic infancy.

Keeping a healthy worm
The end-game of firing bazookas and grenades everywhere usually takes place between distantly separated worms, because no worm is healthy enough to risk getting close for an easy shot. With the full health of 80 points, however, you might be able to chase a weak enemy around the map, safe in the knowledge you can survive a hit and return the favour with a fatal shot.

Some people try to realise this healthy worm for the end by keeping it in an isolated space until the time has come to bring it out.
Although this definitely can serve its purpose, be mindful that some people will see through these tactics and will purposefully lose a worm in order to use the worm rotation abuse. They will then place their worm close to your isolated worm to be able to kill it or deal sufficient damage to be able to kill it in one shot later on.

Isolating one worm also results in that worm being most likely useless for the duration of the isolation; if you both have 4 worms left and 1 of them is isolated, this means that while your opponent has 4 opportunities to deal you damage, you will only have 3 turns to do so.

In addition, the most isolated spots are usually at the bottom of the map. Having your worm there makes it vulnerable to triggering of sudden death.

Picking the right weapon
When picking your weapon, you must pay attention to the landscape, the wind and whether there are still mines scattered around.
Grenades are well suited against worms hiding inside holes, since they naturally go to the lowest point until they explode.
When a big chunk of land is protecting your worm from direct from shotguns or bazookas, it's possible to bounce a grenade from the wall to the opposite of your opponent. Very useful to deal damage and blow them down into a hole where they are very vulnerable to grenades.
Sometimes in these situations, it's better to use a bazooka. This is only possible if the wind blows away from your opponent, so the bazooka will pass over the land and then blow back towards your opponent. Note that this is possibly the hardest kind of bazooka shot to do.

Sometimes, people place their worms on an almost vertical part of land. If there is no land to the side facing your worm, then the opponent's worm is vulnerable to bazooka attacks. Make sure the wind is turned towards your opponent as wind away from your opponent makes it much harder to hit and even impossible if the wind is strong.

Naturally, there might also be land above your opponent's worm in order to protect it from direct grenade throws and bazooka shots (specifically if there's no wind!). In these instances, you can use the protective roof against them: a petrol bomb is the weapon to use now. This is a weapon that's also effective against worms hiding on the edge of the map.
The protective roof should be hit and the burning petrol will rain down on your opponent, making them fall into a hole or the water.

Don't forget about shotguns! Though this weapon is not often used in hysteria games, sometimes this weapon can be be very useful. Sometimes, what seperates you from your opponent is a plethora of small objects. Using a bazooka will only proof useful if you shoot them over those objects, while the same is true for grenades. However, with the shotgun, you get 2 shots and it shoots in a straight line, regardless of wind, making the shot less complicated.

Petrol bombs can also be used to simulate a napalm attack (although less powerful). Throw a petrol bomb somewhere close to your enemy on a flat piece of land, so all the petrol gets concentrated in one spot. Next turn, create an explosion close to the fire pit and the fire will fly up and rain down over a large area.
Though each little fragment will cause little damage, it will limit the moving possibilities of your opponent and it makes it easier to damage distance worms (or even drown them in case of worms on the edge).

Sometimes, you face an opponent who doesn't kill your worms until the very end (as described above). You may find yourself in a situation where your opponent has one healthy worm, while you have 2 worms with almost no health points. This could be the perfect opportunity for a suicide teleport/jetpack.

Save your cow for when it really matters. Using it at the start of a game, while there are still many worms in play gives your opponent the chance to abuse worm rotation, meaning he or she can catch up in health points. The result of this is that while you both will have equal health points later on, your opponent still has a cow with possibly devastating attacks while you do not.

Location, location, location
Placement is everything in this game. If your position is superior to your opponents', skills in weaponry may not matter much. It's an art in itself to find a position where you can easily hit your opponent (or work your way through to him/her) while your opponent will have a hard time doing the same.

Some players prefer putting a worm on the edge of the map, particularly when the worm is nearing its death. Staying on top of the map is then not a good idea, as your opponent will have a far easier time hitting you (the game engine seems to favour wind directed towards the majority of the map while on the edge). However, placing your worm low on the map will allow you to dig through the land towards your opponent, giving you the tactical upper hand.

Players hiding in the interior of the map are best countered by digging holes from above, preferably not a very straight one, as that gives them the opportunity to shoot bazookas. Grenades with big timers can bounce around until they hit their targets and petrol bombs can then be used with great effect. Around the end of the round, you may want to use your cow right around then.

These are just a few examples of placement strategies. With time, you will find out that every placement has its merits and its faults. For every placement, there's a different strategy and it's best to find the spot that can be best exploited with your strengths.

Variations
0-second turn time
(See full article: Paranoia)

A variation of Hysteria with zero seconds of turn time and zero seconds of hot seat time, called Paranoia, was created by StepS in August 2012. This variation requires players to have the relevant keys pressed before their turn even begins.

Low Gravity version
Low Gravity is a common addition to the scheme, adding new possibilities to players' shots. LG requires exceptional keyboard speed, requiring the utility key to be pressed twice, then spacebar, then the selection of another weapon and spacebar again.

Additional weapons
The nature of the scheme lends itself to myriad weapon variations without losing the core theme. Although the original scheme has, as one of its defining characteristics, exactly one weapon per Function key (F1-F12), some variations feature more weapons.

Such variation comes from the LigaWorms official league scheme (Histeria), which includes a Mole as an additional F5-key weapon. The purpose of the Mole is said to be an aid against darksiding (digging in) in league matches.

Other variations include a single Homing missile as a second F1-key weapon (and one which requires especially quick use of the mouse), and unlimited Drills and Girders as second and third F7-key weapons.

"No teleport or jetpack suicide" rule
Some players dislike the suicide attack of dropping a low-health worm from a height onto an opponent using the teleport or jetpack (commonly known "telecow" or "jetcow"). Thus the rule "no telecow/jetcow" is sometimes applied.

Randomised Hysterias
Random_Hysteria.WAgame
Another Random Scheme Editor is capable of generating Hysteria schemes with a randomised selection of weapons. Power settings are also randomised, giving players a few 'turns of discovery' in each game as they test the various weapons.

Avoiding being kicked
Even though Hysteria is not necessarily a game with rules, once many players may not know the scheme and just lose their turns, many hosts may kick someone who seems to be a newbie. Informing the host that you know that the game has only 1 second of turn time will ensure that you are not a beginner and will not cause Sudden Death to arrive sooner than expected. So, a good practice to avoid being kicked is to send a message like "1 sec game" or "1sec" to the host, as seen in ruled games like Shopper. If you know that you are playing a ruled variation, you can say the rules too.

History
The scheme was created in March 2007 by Run who wanted to do something with 1-second turns (which had recently been made available by the beta updates). Expecting it to be a massive flop like all his other schemes, he was most surprised to find that it has since become one of the most popular schemes, appearing in a few leagues and tournaments.

After much deliberating, the scheme was named Hysteria on KoreanRedDragon's suggestion.

User Interface Privilege Isolation causes W:A to not receive certain messages. You can temporarily work around this and restore the game by using the "Bring to front" option in Task Manager, however the long-term solution is to set up the game in such a way that it does not need to run with elevated privileges.

"Unable to connect to the server; please try another server."

Worms Armageddon is a strategy game developed by UK-based company, Team17. It was originally developed as an expansion pack for Worms 2, but as the project grew larger in scale, it was developed to be its own game.
Released in 1999, it is widely accepted as the most successful game in the Worms series.

After an update (version 3.0), Team17 seemed to lose interest in updating the game. A few years later, however, they recruited Deadcode, a talented programmer who showed interest in the game, and even provided a 3rd-party solution (Silkworm) to make the game compatible with Windows 2000/XP. Deadcode has been writing software updates since then. He was later joined by CyberShadow, in September 2006.

Worms Armageddon was released on Steam for a limited time as the preorder bonus of Worms Revolution on September 13, 2012, and then re-released as a separate title on March 19, 2013.

The latest version of the game is LatestBeta, released on LatestBetaRelease.
SchemeEddy is a powerful scheme editor, written by Etho. It is compatible with W:A and WWP schemes, as well as with W:A's new scheme format (which allows setting super weapon ammo), and thus can convert schemes between formats.

It is currently the most advanced scheme editor, allowing you to set any value the game will tolerate (beyond the default limits) for scheme parameters and can even generate random schemes. As of version 2.06, it also supports the new scheme options introduced in the v3.6.29.0 Beta update.
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Darts&diff=24393Darts2015-11-04T14:00:36Z
LeTotalKiller: A few hotfixes.

A dedicated community, dS (Darts n Stuff), was then created a year later by Alien and Komito. Currently, Hurz Triad and spleen17 are Co-Leaders. The scheme became notorious after all the promotion effort made by this community: various Darts-related events are hosted on a regular basis on TUS (which even features Darts as a Free league scheme) and WO.
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Darts&diff=24392Darts2015-11-04T13:47:56Z
LeTotalKiller:

The Darts scheme is a wormy adaptation of the popular real-life Darts game.

In this adaptation, players have to launch their worms to the scoreboard, enabling Low Gravity, then using a Ninja Rope to build momentum with the help of an object specifically drawn for that purpose (a wall or a dot, for example), and finally a Pneumatic Drill to actually fly to the scoreboard. Certain maps may require pressing the Space bar in order to stop the drilling so the worm won't be prevented from landing.
The Worm Olympics (WO) are a string of tournaments hosted in a short period of time. Although hosting tournaments was not a new idea, never before was there an event organised with such a high concentration of tournaments. Just as was the case in the original olympics, wormers could win medals for their tournaments, leading to personal, country and clan standings in the end.

Creation
The idea was originally FatalFanatic's, who asked DarkOne to help in realising the idea. In this event, anyone would be able to host their own tournaments. Any scheme was allowed, leaving room for unusual schemes to have tournaments hosted.

The first time they were hosted, there was no site made for it yet, so it was mainly organised through forums on BTP, CL2K and the Team17 forums. This first edition lasted for the christmas holidays and had a little over 20 tourneys hosted. In the end, M3ntal won most medals of all.

Due to popular demand, the Olympics were once again hosted in December 2005, this time lasting the entire months instead of just the last few weeks. This time around, FatalFanatic was able to make a nice site for the Olympics, making it much easier to organise. People could submit their tournaments to one location, instead of having the browse through forums. This was also the first edition where participants were asked to send in their replays, to be posted on the WO site itself. About half the games ended up being sent, which made for a nice collection of replays, even though it wasn't complete. The winner of this edition turned out to be ThePIT.

Since the second edition was even more successful than the first one, FatalFanatic and DarkOne decided to host the third edition of the WO in the summer of 2006. Lasting for 2 months, a total of 69 tournaments were hosted and in the end, Wyvern was victorious.

In the summer of 2007, attempts were made to host the fourth edition, but both FatalFanatic and DarkOne had other things going on, which resulted in a lack of a site. The resulting extra work simply cost too much time to effectively host the olympics. Despite efforts from BigBilly, who made a site to replace the actual olympics site, the fourth edition unfortunately never really got off the ground.

This is a web scheme editor for the W:A schemes, also compatible with RubberWorm features.

Main Features
* Scheme Creation, of course. The existing logging system being French only, a password system has been put in place for safe scheme editing. (v0.1.0)
** RubberWorm settings are shown in a separate section, so browsing on WKB which crate probability that has to be edited to have this or that setting enabled, or creating the scheme in several steps (external editing if any, creating an "online" offline game, typing commands, starting the game, extracting the scheme file from the resulting replay file) won't be necessary. (v0.1.0)
** It is possible to choose whether or not to save the future scheme on the server. (In v0.1.0, they always were saved on the server; v1.2.4 added the ability to refuse that.)
** It is possible to create a scheme based on the already existing ones in the database. (v1.1.0)
* Upload a scheme, if the user already created a scheme and doesn't want to bother recreating it with the create scheme form. There again, there's a password system. (v0.3.0)
** The uploaded scheme can be fine-tuned before it is published or before downloading it back without publishing. (v1.3.0)
* It is possible to edit a scheme after it has been uploaded or created. As mentioned above, there is a password system to prevent people from editing others' scheme. (v1.0.0)
** Scheme Replacing (with an uploaded file) is an alternative to scheme editing. (v1.3.0)
* A scheme list, so others' creations can be downloaded. (v0.4.0)
** Scheme settings can also be previewed before downloading the scheme. (v0.7.0)
* Ability to attach example replays to a scheme that is going to be uploaded to the database, or to an existing scheme in the database. They're then downloadable from the scheme list (after approval if the author decided that he has to approve replays first). (introduced in v0.5.0, improved in v0.6.0)
* Schemes can be commented by other users. (v1.2.0)
* The editor is multilingual; at the moment it can be used in the following languages:
** English (since v0.1.0, and with minor improvements by Clown in v0.6.0a; continuously maintained by the author);
** French (since v0.1.0; continuously maintained by the author);
** Dutch (partially since v1.0.2 and completely since v1.1.0, with translations updates provided by Piki1802 and Paperfold).
** Spanish (since v1.3.3b, thanks to sbs).

Future Plans
This small web application has all features one would expect from a basic scheme editor. However here are features the author would like to add, albeit he kind of abandoned the project:

* Give this editor a name.
* A Logging System, different from the website's French-only one.
* Scheme Reviewing by an experienced and objective-enough staff (its members will have to be selected carefully) and Scheme Rating by users.
* Possibly add some random generation (weapons only/game settings only/crates probabilities/single-setting/all?).
* Possibly implement wkMagic and v3.0 compatibility (the latter already exists when uploading or viewing a scheme, but not when creating or editing one).
* For a bigger to-do list, see the issues list on GitHub.

What Users Can Do
Users are welcome to:
* Help in finding a name to this scheme editor.
* Suggest a better design to the editor.
* Contribute new translations: if someone wants to contribute one, he should contact LeTotalKiller on #worms, on WormNET, on Dream17 forums or on TUS forums. He will then send the translation file.
* Suggest features and improvements.
* Report any bugs they find.
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Worm_Olympics&diff=24095Worm Olympics2015-02-07T16:07:06Z
LeTotalKiller: Change title structure a bit.

Newer editions
Worm Olympics 2008
WO2008 was held between June 28th and August 31st. Booking of the tournaments began on June 1st.

The first 2 weeks had a staggering number of 42 tourneys already, with this edition having had even more tourneys than the 2006 edition while being only halfway. At the start of August, there had been over 80 tournaments hosted and in the end, 179 tourneys were played, averaging 2.75 tourneys per day. Compared to WO2006, there were 2.6 times more tourneys hosted, with 50% more players—making WO2008 the most successful season so far.

The winner of this season was Random00, with Zogger taking the silver and Knight getting the bronze medal.

New features on the site include map previews for every replay sent in, as well as overall weapon statistics! To promote sending in replays, FFie and DarkOne decided to subtract 1 point in the standings for every missing replay. So far, it seems to have done the trick, since around 90% of the replays are now available for viewing!

The last version of W:A from Team17 is 3.0. Following updates were developed outside Team17, by independent programmers. Until 3.7.0.0, they were considered "Beta", due to not having passed Team17's internal quality review.

All updates since 3.5 Beta 2 and up to and including 3.6.26.5 were written almost solely by Deadcode, after being recruited by Team17. In September 2006, CyberShadow joined forces with Deadcode; all updates since and including 3.6.28.0 were written by Deadcode and CyberShadow.
Technical information
Installer
WA_Update-3.0.5.0_Beta_2.exe is a Microsoft installer (with an embedded Microsoft Cabinet file, which can be extracted with cabextract under a Unix-like system or (presumably) EXTRACT.EXE on Windows). Inside this installer is actually another installer - an InstallShield installer. Inside this is the data1.hdr file, which points programs towards the two cab files. These are InstallShield Cabinets. These can be extracted with Unshield on UNIX or i6comp on Windows.

WA_Exe-3.0.5.0_Beta_2.zip and wa_update-3.0.5.0_beta_3.zip to WA_Update-3.6.21.3_Beta.zip are technically not installers. They are just a plain zip file containing the updated files. One does not need to install previous updates, as these are cumulative.

WA_Update-3.6.22.1_Beta.exe to WA_Update-3.6.26.5_Beta.exe (and presumably some other versions) is a UPX-compressed self-extracting 7-Zip archive. The contents can be manually extracted using 7-Zip. Depending on which version of 7-Zip is being used, the UPX compression may have to be manually removed first.

Versions since 3.6.28.0 come in an NSIS installer package, which automates most of the updating tasks - detects installation directory, downloads and installs prerequisites like the 3.0 Patch or the updated GFX archives (which were introduced in 3.6.22.1). The updated GFX archives can be downloaded separately [ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/GfxUpdate-3.6.22.1.exe here], and it is a self-extracting 7z archive. Both of these (the NSIS installer and the 7-Zip archive) can be extracted with 7-zip, both on Windows and on Unix-like OSes.

Game logic

Test versions of W:A are special game logic versions where one or more test features are enabled. Some of them are meant to be turned into scheme options in the future.

They became publicly accessible with the release of the 3.6.28.0 Beta update, although some of them have been coded and integrated to the executable a while before (see the logic versions list). RacingStuff and BoomRacing have been introduced in 3.6.30.0.

They can be enabled in the Host/Join screen using special chat commands: enabling one will cause an appropriate game logic version to be emulated. This prevents them from being cumulative, and enabling a test version will disable the previously-enabled one (if any).

There are currently 5 test versions:
* BattyRope: toggled by entering the /batty command, BattyRope forces Rope Knocking and allows players' ropes to stay attached between turns; the hanging worms may still be knocked off their rope though.
* 150% speed: toggled by entering either /150, /fast or /speed, this test version will make the game 1.5× faster, by changing the framerate from 50 to 75 FPS.
* TestStuff: toggled by entering either the /test or the /ts command, TestStuff (or TS) enables a handful of features. Enabled features include BattyRope, Rope Knocking, the Indian Rope Trick, Girder Radius Assist, Circular Aiming, Anti-Lock Power, Skipwalking Facilitation, and Worm Selection during the Hot Seat Time without ending it. TS also doubles the maximum roping and jetpacking speed (making it 32 pixels/frame instead of the usual 16), removes the projectile motion speed limit, and disables loss of control while roping. Furthermore, Fall Damage is successfully enabled for a worm pushed by an explosion, even before touching a wall.
* RacingStuff: toggled by entering either /rs, /race, /racing, /racestuff, or /racingstuff, this test version will enable the Worm Selection without ending Hot Seat Time feature, along with Phased Worms (where worms being able to walk through each other without any resistance).
* BoomRacing: toggled by entering either /boom, /boomrace or /boomracing, this test version will enable the Worm Selection without ending Hot Seat Time feature, along with Phased Teams (where teams can't influence each other, with a few exceptions, listed in the Update Documentation - these exceptions include the shared landscape and the shared flame limit).
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=LeTotalKiller%27s_Scheme_Editor&diff=23823LeTotalKiller's Scheme Editor2014-07-30T00:17:23Z
LeTotalKiller: Update; mention the project is kind of abandoned.

** English (since v0.1.0, and with minor improvements by Clown in v0.6.0a; continuously maintained by the author);
** French (since v0.1.0; continuously maintained by the author);

* Suggest features and improvements.
* Report any bugs they find.
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Wall-X-Wall_Shopper&diff=23744Wall-X-Wall Shopper2014-07-02T19:23:51Z
LeTotalKiller: Add Turkish link.

Wall-X-Wall Shopper, also known as WXW, is a variation of the well known shopper scheme. The aim of this scheme is quite similar to shopper, where in addition to the regular shopper rules the player also has to touch a number of walls marked on the terrain.

History
The original idea of Wall-X-Wall shopper came from the W:A player Star worms in 2005. This scheme was originally played on regular shopper terrains with the extra rule of TBW (Touch Both Walls) added. This game was in the beginning known as Wall 2 Wall or W2W in shorthand. Unlike the later version of Wall-x-Wall, this original idea had no specified walls to touch and used the left and right walls of the terrain for this purpose.

Not soon after Star Worms came out with his first specialised W2W map, in which he had marked four walls with a red colour which would become the principle of all Wall-x-Wall terrains since. Quite obvious this scheme could no longer be called "Wall 2 Wall" and so it was named "Wall 4 Wall" (w4w).

As a few months passed by, special maps for this wall touching variety of shopper were made and W3W, W5W, W6W, W8W and even W12W were created. The name WxW or Wall-x-Wall was given to this new variety of Worms.

Rules
Nowadays WxW is played with the PACK rules, with the addition of the TBW rule's more accurate "successor", WBA, meaning Wall Before Attack. The player has to touch - if not stated otherwise - all of the required walls before attacking with a weapon.

How to play
See shopper, but make sure you use the rule mentioned above.
LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Wall-X-Wall_Shopper/fr&diff=23743Wall-X-Wall Shopper/fr2014-07-02T19:23:22Z
LeTotalKiller: Add Turkish link.

LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Wall-X-Wall_Shopper/pl&diff=23742Wall-X-Wall Shopper/pl2014-07-02T19:22:52Z
LeTotalKiller: Add Turkish link.

Tarihi
Orijinal WxW Shopper, Star worms adlı W:A oyuncusu tarafından 2005 yılında bulunmuştur. WxW başlarda normal Shopper haritalarında haritanın sol ve sağ kenarlarına dokunularak oynanıyordu. Hatta bu yüzden eskiden WBA (Wall Before Attack – Saldırıdan Önce Duvar) kuralından önce TBW ( Touch Both Walls – İki Duvara da Dokun) kuralı vardı.

Rules
Nowadays WxW is played with the PACK rules, with the addition of the TBW rule's more accurate "successor", WBA, meaning Wall Before Attack. The player has to touch - if not stated otherwise - all of the required walls before attacking with a weapon.

Abnormal is a particular scheme where players have to kill their own team off in order to win. It is based on Intermediate, the main differences being that the team weapon is replaced by two Mad Cows with a delay of two turns, and that three rounds are required to win a game.

Even though the idea may sound simple at first, the scheme can lead to interesting battles, as players will try and go for combos, especially thanks to the few Select Worms available. A round generally lasts from 4 to 6 minutes and random placement can often help a player winning, so the scheme is best played with several rounds as set in the scheme settings.
__NOTOC__
Strategies
Keeping track of the turn order
Keeping track of the turn order in the team is capital for multi-turn strategies. It helps saving Select Worms for better occasions later in the game, or, if they already have been used, knowing the turn order helps finishing the game within as few turns as possible.

Having a team with numbered worms is useful for this.

Going for combo kills
This is what the scheme is about, really. Players have to try and use fewer turns than their opponents, so managing to kill from 3 to 5 worms within a single turn can make the difference. Useful combinations could be:

* Setting several worms for a kill with a Kamikaze, combined with Low Gravity if necessary. Kamikaze shouldn't be underestimated, as it is very powerful in this scheme in that it can take out aligned worms and not just piled worms (it won't, however, hit a worm placed on top of another one affected by the Kamikaze); furthermore, it guarantees the current worm's death.
* Piling several worms on the top of the map and throwing a Dynamite or releasing a Sheep on the left or on the right of the piled worms' heads.
* Placing several worms at the bottom of the map, then using another worm which would fire a Homing Missile underwater, from Bungee or Parachute if necessary.

Select Worms and time are limits to these combo kills; thus, players shouldn't risk an extra worm if they don't have time for it and/or if it costs them an extra Select Worm which could be saved, especially if that worm gets the next turn and could complete the combo kill during that turn.

If possible however, those combo kills should ideally leave players with a single worm rather than two, as a single worm can just suicide itself, giving only one turn for their opponent(s) to catch them up.

Suiciding after kills/hits
After killing or hitting other worms, the current worm should be able to suicide during the retreat time (3 seconds on the land, 5 on a utility or after dropping a Mine or a Dynamite) if it isn't possible to suicide it during the kill.

If possible, a weapon allowing two shots per turn (either Shotgun or Longbow) should be used: if a single shot allows completing the planned combo kill, the current worm has the remaining turn time to suicide, rather than just a few seconds of retreat time. Of course, this doesn't allow using utilities afterwards - if Low Gravity is required, then it should be enabled before the first shot, and it should be taken into account while performing the first shot.

Using existing Mines
Abnormal_Using_Existing_Mines_1min42s.WAgame
This strategy allows continuing a turn while killing a worm; it requires a Select Worm and, if necessary, Low Gravity.

If there is a mine near an edge or at the bottom of the map, the player can prepare a Select Worm, trigger the mine and place the worm appropriately for the kill, then trigger the Select Worm and select another worm before the mine explodes and kills the worm. The player can then set and/or execute a combo kill with the new worm, or even reuse this strategy if there is another mine in the same situation.

Last resort strategies
If no combo kills can be performed or prepared during a turn (for example if a worm is blocked), there are still minimal things to do:

* Profiting of opponents' piles: Sometimes the opponent has a nice pile the player could use as well, if it helps him finishing the game within fewer turns. This strategy doesn't work if too many worms are sent that way in the same pile.
* Blocking the opponents: If the current worm can be suicided easily afterwards, the player can block his opponent(s) with a Girder in order to prevent (or at least delay) his/their combo kills. The player then has to suicide during the retreat time (a Ninja Rope could be used to allow more retreat time, as well as to knock nearby worms to the water).
* Suiciding the current worm: If the current worm is completely useless, or if its turn is about to end and no kills can be performed, the player shouldn't forget about killing it. Using Suicide Bomber or teleporting into water can do the trick no matter the placement (running out of both of them being improbable).

The scheme has been created and promoted by van in early 2013, although the idea popped in NNN forums earlier, with a proposal by Bytor.

LeTotalKillerhttps://worms2d.info/?title=Sortie_Steam_(Worms_Armageddon)&diff=23649Sortie Steam (Worms Armageddon)2014-04-14T23:10:33Z
LeTotalKiller: /* Différences avec la version CD */ Fix the link to the manual's errata.

* Angry Scots
* Jock
* Rasta
* Team17 Test
* The Raj
