The Ultimate Clan has been founded by Triad on July 2nd, 2012.

Clan History

When Triad returned to WormNET in January 2012 after a hiatus of one year and a half, he faced a disheartening reality: none of his old Turkish wormer friends were active anymore.

Motivated by this, he set out to establish a Turkish forum dedicated to Worms Armageddon in the summer of 2012. Triad's goal was to create a central hub for Turkish players. However, lacking the necessary skills for such a project, he enlisted the help of his high school classmate, ctoprakseven, to develop the website.

Together, they created a simple forum which quickly attracted a significant number of Turkish players. This forum laid the foundation for UC, a national clan oriented towards Turkish gamers, with Emre being the first member to join. Forum's success was marked by successfully helding a Shopper tournament. As the site's membership grew, they organized an even larger Roper tournament. Once the site had a substantial member base, Triad initiated the Ultimate Clan League (UCL). As the site didn't have a sophisticated league interface, league matches were initially collected as attachments in a forum topic called "UCL Games".

The clan's scope expanded beyond Turkey when ZexorZ joined UC as the first non-Turkish player, transitioning UC into an international clan. This development led to an influx of members from various countries.

UC's Achievements

  • Thanks to UC, most of the new Turkish players learned more about W:A;
  • 159 games were played in UC League Season #1;
  • UC finished Worm Olympics 2013 as #5, in 2014 as #3 and in 2015 as #1;
  • UC finished Worm Olympics 2013, 2014 and 2015 as the clan with the most players;
  • Thanks to UC gathering many Turkish players, Turkey finished Worm Olympics 2013 as #5, the best position in country standings Turkey had in Worm Olympics history.
  • UC have won the "Suckiest Clan" Award at FoS Award 2015
