Streaming Worms Armageddon is different to streamings of other games, mainly because of it's OpenGL based graphics. So the usual way of streaming games fails for Worms Armageddon. This article gives an instruction how to avoid the graphic problems, though the author limits oneself on own made experiences.

Install Worms Armageddon with the latest update

Install Wormkit module D3D9Wnd (Kawoosh, StepS) (http://myfiles.my1.ru/wa/wk/wkD3D9Wnd.rar)

*Install Worms Armageddon with the [http://wa.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda&file=15 latest update].
Run W:A and set game resolution to 1280x720

*Run W:A, go into Settings and set the in-game resolution to 1280x720 (recommended for streaming, but you can pick your own).
Go to settings and click  on “load Wormkit modules”

*Go into Advanced Settings.
Exit W:A

**Tick "Load WormKit modules".
Start W:A again. Now you are in a windowed mode

**In the "Graphics" drop-down select Direct3D 9 (shader palette).

*Exit W:A.
Register at www.twitch.tv

  • Install Worms Armageddon with the latest update.
  • Run W:A, go into Settings and set the in-game resolution to 1280x720 (recommended for streaming, but you can pick your own).

  • Download and install OpenBroadcaster
  • Start OpenBroadcaster
  • Go to Settings -> Broadcast settings
    • Select Twitch.tv
    • Select a server (nearest to you is recommended)
    • Insert your stream key
  • Go to Settings -> Video, select 1280x720 (the one you chose in the W:A settings)
  • Now, set up your scene. Add a W:A source by right-clicking at the "Sources" area or use "Global sources" button
  • Use either Window Capture or Game Capture (if it works). To stretch, use "Edit scene" button
  • Start your broadcast
