Moving the mouse so that the camera is positioned at the absolute bottom of the map alters the vertical spawn point of the crate.

This doesn't have any impact on where the crate will ultimately land - if the top of the screen is solid terrain the crate will spawn at the closest vertical position above it that isn't occupied by soil - but it does work as a quick and effective way of shortening the amount of time it takes for a crate to drop (unlike the PC/PSone/etc. versions of Worms, the crate remains on its parachute until it has landed, and the drop cannot be skipped).
