You should avoid hiding on the top of the map, otherwise you will become an easy target for [[Banana Bomb]] or similar weapons. When trying to drown worms standing on a platform close to the water, remember that many weapons are on max power, so the blast might be bigger than expected. You only have two ropes, so use them wisely.

The map is usually designed with a series of ribbon-like structures around the edge of the map and sometimes scattered throughout. The ribbons are typically simple in form, but can be intricate. The gaps between the ribbons provide the method by which the worms can be drowned.

A large selection of weapons is provided, including several of the more powerful weapons such as the Holy Hand Grenade and Banana Bomb, and several super weapons such as the Super Banana, Ming Vase, Salvation Army and Magic Bullet. All weapons are provided in unlimited supply.

Some of these weapons are made even more powerful by the weapon upgrades; for the Grenade, Banana, Shotgun and Longbow.

Only one transport tool is provided; the Ninja Rope, with a quantity of 2. As worms are anchored, this is the only way that worms can get around the map.

The Baseball Bat is provided for occasions where a close-combat move is required.

The scheme is supported by HostingBuddy

History

The origin of the scheme is unknown, but dates back to 2006 at the latest, when the earliest known map for this scheme was uploaded to the Worms Map Database in August of that year.

The scheme has featured consistently in competitions, appearing in the Worm Olympics every year from 2010 to 2016, and in cups and tournaments hosted on The Ultimate Site between 2012 and 2015.
