Andy Davidson is the man who came up with the core concept of ''Worms''. He was also responsible for programming the Amiga versions of [[Worms]] and [[Worms: The Directors Cut]]. He left Team17 shortly after the release of [[Worms Armageddon]] in 1999 due to creative differences, but returned in 2012 to work on new, non-''Worms'' related projects.

He continued working on improvements for WormsDC long after the game was released. His current personal build it as v1.5.

Andy Davidson is the man who came up with the core concept of Worms. He was also responsible for programming the Amiga versions of Worms and Worms: The Directors Cut. He left Team17 shortly after the release of Worms Armageddon in 1999 due to creative differences, but returned in 2012 to work on new, non-Worms related projects. He left the company again following the release of Worms Revolution.

ANdy continued working on updates to WormsDC after it's release. In 2018 he posted a screenshot of the WormsDC title screen to Instagram with an updated version number of 1.5 and a build date of May 2nd, 2018. Davidson has indicated he plans to release this update in the near future.
