To do: Confirm whether this issue also occurs in the original Worms, and if it occurs on WormsDC v1.0.

When playing WormsDC in emulation the error message "Nowhere to worm!" appears on the terrain generator much more often than it would on a genuine Amiga, and there is evidence to suggest that this message is being generated erroneously.

WormsDC will throw up this error message even if there is plenty of space on a map to play. This has been verified in v1.05, we are yet to verify if it occurs on an unpatched retail copy of the game.

Explaining the "Nowhere to worm!" message

On the Amiga version of Worms and WormsDC, the terrain generator must render a level in full before it decides whether or not there is sufficient terrain space for terrain objects, landmines, and the worms themselves. If it determines that there is not enough space for these things then it will reject the terrain and generate a new one. This can also happen with colour maps and Graffiti maps.
