The People's league was a Worms Armageddon league ran by Vertigo and Barman (coder of the whole thing) amongst others.
The season structure was based around a never ending ladder and an old fashioned monthly league, this way, most players had a chance in winning it. It was the first W:A league to include 2v2 matches that counted towards your single rating, you could team up with anyone in WormNet as long as they were signed up in the league, and form a team to play another pair.
The league is currently offline after going through several problems (being hacked), it doesn't look like it'll be back as Barman seems to be missing in combat.
