Yes thats right, BulletTime in Worms! Could make some interesting escapes and the like, depending on how its used. Either way, its 'Worm take out the weapon' animation should have said worm put on Black Shades.

This weapon or maybe even Utility can be either easy or hard to implement, depending on what effects one should want to achieve. The first way would be to implement the Zero-Time (Single Step for those who don't know) feature as a weapon or utility, either with or without the aiming guides and such. This would allow people to still play Internet Games perfectly without the risk of extreme cheating occuring and also negate the need for encrypted replays when it is used. It should probably be enabled for a limited time after the weapon has been fired (or triggered) and should not include the ability to retry your turn or games would last forever. It is most likely not possible to implement into online multiplayer without causing an extreme desync, so ignore the statement above unless it can.

The Second, and more ideal option, would be to throw the player into mid-turn slow motion (like in replays), and thus would allow much more time to think when say, roping through a maze. This option would not include any aiming guides, thus making players still require some form of skill in order to utilize properly. This option should also include a time limit, however it should be longer in comparison to Option 1 as no aiming guides are used and players are still actually moving, just slowly. Most likely the only way to implement it in WormNET would be to throw ALL players into slowmo rather then just the user of the weapon, however this may cause annoyances.

This is a great addition for all Matrix Fans. Maybe a good idea, maybe a bad. Your choice. :P
