Please post any problems you are having below
I will try to answer them as fast as I can here or to debug in real time. I am usually in AG as Elixer. --Solixa 00:02, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
New Bugs:
- The game is very laggy when SolixaWorms is running.
- When viewing your buddies' "about" info, the column Signed in --time-- shows the time in an unknown timezone. It should report either GMT time (with "GMT" acronym added, or user's local time, as set in Windows.
- This flag is incorrectly reported as Slovakia in "Lookup country" menu item. This flag is incorrectly reported as Lebanon. Also, a country for flag of Chile needs to be assigned, it currently shows Unknown (there may be more flags with no or wrong country assigned).
- In chat window, there is **WormNet: string added at the start of every line other than talking - is this intentional? I find it very annoying. --Konar6 03:21, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Version field
Hi, please make sure that your snooper appears with a snooper icon in the game. You can do this either by setting the rank field to 13 or putting the word "snooper" anywhere in the version field (e.g. "Solixa Worms Snooper"). --Vladimir 23:58, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
solixaworms.exe.MANIFEST
Hello, can you integrate the manifest file into the program? I just don't like that file being put externally. If you have used the InitCommonControls API function, all you need to do is to put the manifest to the program's resource file (.RES). See this page for more instructions.
(You can forget my suggestion if you don't think you can do it.) --Explorer09 15:29, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
XP styles bug
Sorry, ignore my suggestion, because applying the XP style will cause the radio-buttons to display incorrectly (see my screenshot below). Turn the XP styles off to fix this bug. --Explorer09 12:49, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
(You can still use the XP style if your application does not have such trouble-making controls. However, don't write an external .MANIFEST file, use the resources instead.) --Explorer09 13:11, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Load on Windows Startup
Also please, Solixa, turn the "Load on Windows Startup" option off by default. Because people use this software without installing, and turning that option on may cause the virus scanners to block your software, OR let people think that your software contains a virus which does unauthorized access to the registry. --Explorer09 12:36, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
IM BACK.. Anyone still use this software?
Hey guys, sorry i have been away for sooooooo long, i will get these bugs fixed, as i have just noticed that there is a new error popping up now too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Solixa (talk • contribs)
