WormNET ranks were used on the WormNET server for ranked play. Intermediate players were able to compete in the Pro league and Pro players were unable to compete in the Amateur league. Elite players also had their own league as well as access to the Pro league. Ranked play has been disabled for some time but the ranks can still be set via the IRC realname field using the appropriate rank id. Most snooper clients allow easy setting of their rank.
Setting the snooper rank (id 13) has the additional effect of causing the user to be sorted at the bottom of the player list with all other snoopers.
Players with Elite rank had a blue flaming health bar ().
Team17 staff, beta testers, and players that were #1 at the end of a league period had a red flaming health bar ().
