Aptitude in Ubuntu
My Ubuntu 10.10 does not have Aptitude installed by default. It might be just me, but may I mention that apt-get could be substituted for Aptitude?
EDIT: It seems that it's not me. --Explorer09 10:46, 10 April 2011 (CEST)

PlayOnLinux
My personal recommendations for Wine beginners and advanced users alike is to use PlayOnLinux, but not like you would normally do. Use it like Wine version and prefix ('virtual hard drive') manager. Basically what it allows you is, say, have your Steam installed in prefix with wine 3.3 x32, some other games installed in 2.10 x64, etc.
It also has plenty of useful tools built in, like a shell with all wine environment variables related to your current prefix, quick access to winecfg, wine registry editor, and stuff. --SuperPrower (talk) 07:21, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
