Amigas with less than or exactly 2MB of RAM - usually stock A1200 machines - may find that WormsDC crashes during startup or play, likely showing a Software Failure error message.
This can be circumvented like so:
- Reset the Amiga, holding down both mouse buttons so the boot menu appears after resetting.
- Select "Boot with no startup-sequence".
- At the AmigaDOS prompt, browse to the drawer where WormsDC is installed. (e.g. DH1:games/WORMSDC/)
- You can type the "prompt" command first to display the current drawer at the prompt if that helps.
- Type "RUNDC" (without quotes, not case-sensitive) to launch the game.
