(Up to Worms Armageddon)
Le premier patch de W:A met à jour les versions originales anglaises de Worms Armageddon vers la version 3.0. C'est nécessaire de le faire avant d'installer la mise à jour bêta avec ces versions d'origine. Les autres versions de W:A n'ont pas besoin de ce patch, qui peut même casser W:A s'il est installé.
Ce patch peut être téléchargé depuis le site de Team17 ou depuis ce site.

WAPatch.exe is a self-extracting zip file containing an InstallShield installer. It can be extracted manually using ordinary unzipping programs. The installer is named SETUP.EXE and data is extracted from data1.cab. InstallShield cabs can be extracted manually with unshield or i5comp.
L'installeur a l'air de faire les choses suivantes :
- Il vérifie si W:A est installé. Sinon, il refuse de se lancer. (Mais pas si vous avez une mauvaise version. Comme c'est énervant.)
- Detects the installation path of WA and makes that its default installation path.
- Extracts group "Program Executable Files" from data1.cab to APPDIR.
- Sets up an installer at APPDIR/Uninst.isu for no apparent reason (but doesn't seem to set up add/remove programs).
